M85 两个内存板，插满单条512的创见内存，重起机器后，第一块内存板
的四组内存会不规律的有一组或几组变为deconfigure需要手动配起来，第二块内存板没问题，这是怎么回事？是内存板还是内存的问题？

你把第一块内存板和第二块内存板上的内存全部调换装上试一试.如果又是第一块板上的内存出现deconfigure,那就有可能是第一块内存板有问题.

而且第一块内存板的四组内存都有过问题

曾经遇到过类似情况
diag不报错
用几周就报内存错
串口手动起又正常

现在的线路板多是多层板，虽然小型化了，内部短路的情况也可能发生。

"missing"没见过，不知道具体的现象是怎么样
不过，想来微码的版本不高，可以升级一下先试试。

关于"incorrectly display",可能的情况是：读取到的vpd信息是乱码，容量不对。
missing：我猜想是，可能读取不到vpd信息，然后主机认为这个设备不可用。
前面不知道你有没有把内存换过内存板？

内存都是一样的型号，需要换么？
而且每次都是同一个内存板上的随机的几组内存deconfig

我意思是，把第二块板上的内存，换到第一块上，第一块的放到第二块内存板上，
不过，谨慎点的做法是1。只用第二块的内存板，用第一块板上的内存，
其他的先拆了别用。内存位置什么的做个标记。
2。如果还是有问题，用第二块内存板，原第二块板上的内存，装的第一个槽位上。
3。如果还是有问题，升级微码试试看
4。如果还是有问题，换换系统板
如果，是每次重启机器都出现问题，应该还是比较容易确认问题所在的，2个半小时应该够了把。

的确，size=00000000，其他的信息读取的都正常，升级微码看看把
想再试试的话，把第二块内存板和第一块内存板换个位置，看看是不是只对第一个内存插槽有影响。
最好试试，我也想了解了解。

是MM020916这个版本已经纠正了内存识别问题了

可能内存插槽不紧了吧?上次我们一个客户就是如此,打开机把可能有关系的芯片都插插紧就好了.很怪异的是这个客户将M85不放在机架上,IO柜压在CEC柜上,觉得不是很妥.因为IO柜太重了,还不把CEC压变形了?
还有一个客户的也是报内存错,不过不想给他插了,他的机架太复杂,每次拆一次机要5-6个小时,反正也出保了,费事.
不过是不是M80-85都有这个问题,我碰到的都是这个系列出内存问题.

看来M系列这个问题不少啊，我也遇上过，不是DIMM的问题，我想换了memory expansion board应该就没事了。

终于被我找到原因了
答案就是
77. Enable/Disable Memory Repeat Gard: Currently Disabled
1. Memory Riser Card 1
2. Memory Riser Card 2
98. Return to Previous Menu
变成disabled就行了
原因嘛
The failure history of each DIMM is retained. If a DIMM with a history of failures is
brought back online by disabling Repeat Gard, it remains online if it passes testing
during the boot process. However, if Repeat Gard is enabled, the DIMM is taken offline
again because of its history of failures.
所以在enable的时候就算你手工配置的内存，他也会仍然按有错误来停掉这些内存
