Position: Linux User Space Development Engineer – Member of Technical Staff
Location: Beijing China

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the teams in US and Canada to design, integrate and implement new features of Wind River Linux
- Track, evaluate and integrate development from the open source community
- Share, track, and evangelize Linux and Open Source knowledge internally and externally
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/MS in CS or related majors
- 8+ years embedded development experience
- 6+ years development experience with Embedded Linux
- Strong practical C experience in a cross-compilation environment
- Bash and python scripting ability
- Knowledge of GNU development toolchain, especially gcc for cross-compilation and linking and gdb for debugging
- Knowledge and understanding of common Open Source software development practices
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skill in English
- Results oriented
- Experience with git is a big plus
- Familiarity with automake, autoconf, compilation cache and multilib compilation
- Ability to read, understand and modify Makefiles
- Familiarity with meson build system
- Experience with Fedora, Red Hat is desired
- Fast learner, adaptable in new computational environments
- Proven ability to work across many technology areas, act proactively and own a problem
